This fall's sermon series focuses on Jesus's return as King. Join us as we discuss what we can expect and what we as the church can do now to prepare for His return.
October 13, 2019 - John 14:1-7
In this week's sermon, Pastor Dave explains the benefits (both earthly and heavenly) of Jesus's statement that he has prepared a room for his disciples and that he will return again to bring us to him. Let's listen.
October 6, 2019 - Luke 17:20-37
We cannot preserve our life through our own hard work or by purchasing the best luxuries money can buy. Let's listen as Pastor Dave tells us what, or who, can preserve our life.
September 29, 2019 - Mark 8:34-38
In this passage, Jesus tells us what we must do if we want to follow Him. We must deny ourself, pick up our cross, and follow Jesus. Listen as Pastor Dave explains this passage more clearly.
September 22, 2019 - Matthew 25:31-46
We, the church, often find ourselves trying to separate the sheep and goats for Jesus, but this Scripture calls us to focus on the poor. Eternal life with Jesus can be found by feeding the hungry, giving the thirsty a drink, welcoming the stranger, clothing the naked, and visiting the sick and the prisoner. Join me as we discuss the passage.
September 15, 2019 - Matthew 25:1-13
Being prepared for Jesus' return is more important than being punctual (or rather, preparation makes punctuality possible). The way we prepare is through ordinary, planned obedience. Planning our daily lives around Jesus gets us in shape for his return.
September 8, 2019 - Matthew 24:29-31
Salvation is Christ's choice, not ours. We can't save ourselves by our choices. Ironically, that sets us free to choose obedience because we are no longer paralyzed by the fear of losing God's love.
